Respects to Alfred Pierce

i will be dj-ing the "free alfred pierce" event this thursday. in addition to music, their will be performances by members of the dub poets collective out of toronto. this event is an effort to bring awareness to the various forms of racism at queen's, in the past and present. for info on mr. alfred pierce, the man who gives "alfies pub" it's name, listen to last week's show at cfrc.ca or visit qcred.org, the Queen's Coalition for Racial and Ethnic Diversity.
